KeeRyung Kwun, an aquaculture student at the Faculty of Agriculture, was always curious how shellfish farms were operated and 正品蓝导航 University provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find out.
Aquaculture instructor Scott Jeffery suggested an internship at ShanDaph Oyster Farm in Big Island, Merigomish and KeeRyung was absolutely thrilled.
鈥淢y internship course instructor, Joy Galloway-Jones connected me with RBC for course funding so I could get paid during my internship. I have learned so much and will forever feel grateful that I was able to spend such an eventful summer with every day full of interesting shenanigans and new experiences.鈥
Her advice: 鈥淚f there is anyone debating whether to do an internship through Dal, I highly recommend you do it! You will get something out of it at the end!鈥
"We are very fortunate to have the financial and volunteer support of our local RBC partners, particularly in this year of turns and challenges," explained Joy Galloway-Jones, Internship Coordinator.聽 "Some of these opportunities would not be able to happen without their generous donation.鈥 聽
