正品蓝导航 Weapons of War: Sexual Violence and Child Soldiers

Two threats have emerged that continue to define the contemporary global security dynamic, the use of sexual and gender based violence and the extensive use of child soldiers by armed groups. 听

While both share an unfortunate prevalence in conflicts historically, the scale and systematic nature of their use in modern conflicts are creating long-lasting universal repercussions.

On Sept 24th, two of Canada's leading humanitarians LGen Rom茅o Dallaire (Ret'd), Founder of The Rom茅o Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative and Mr. Stephen Lewis, Co-Director of AIDS Free World will speak about how and why these weapons are being realized, and the efforts each is leading to bring an end to their uses.
