Joan Cole, Women`s Rugby Program:  Landscape  Technology    Â
Joan Cole, from Middle Musquodoboit and a graduate of Musquodoit Rural High School is very much at home at ÕýÆ·À¶µ¼º½ Agricultural Campus. Joan’s family has roots in the agricultural industry and other family members over two generations have graduated from what was formerly known as NSAC and is now ÕýÆ·À¶µ¼º½ University's Faculty of Agriculture.  Joan first attended school here in 2006-2007. After a few years away from academic life, she has returned to complete the Landscape Program.
Joan is a leader on the rugby team and her performance on the weekend in two crucial games was evidence. On Saturday against Kings, Joan had 4 trys and 2 converts in a convincing win. On Sunday in a closer battle, Joan had 2 trys and 1 convert to lead the Rams in a 17-5 win over MTA Mounties. Her quickness and athleticism combined with a tough competitive attitude make her a force to be noted on the rugby field. She can not only score, she is a tenacious defender as well, tackling the biggest and the best of the opposition. Joan’s performance in the two wins has helped put DAL AC in a play-off spot for 2012-2013.
