ITS is moving to a new service management system in May. Until that time,听the current system online portal will be restricted to on-campus or VPN access only. Email support tickets will continue to work as they did previously, and phone support is also available.

If you are not sure how to access VPN from home please email support@dal.ca or call 902 494 4357 for guidance.听

We can help you with your technology-related questions or issues. Our standard support services include:

  • Warranty work on 正品蓝导航 owned Windows computers. For more information on how to procure a computer from 正品蓝导航 DCP, please visit听
  • Installation and troubleshooting of all ITS provided software (O365, Windows 11, security tools, Konica printer software, etc.)
  • Network access
  • New computer set up and orientation for employees
  • Virus removal and account remediation
  • Account management and Multi-Factor Authentication
  • MAC machines supported on a best effort basis only while under warranty

It does not include:

  • Hardware work on non-warranty machines
  • Support for personally owned computers
  • Support for computers听purchased听via another reseller without the agreement and involvement of ITS
    • If you鈥檙e purchasing a computer through a reseller for research or any other special use, please reach out to ITS for additional support information
  • Off campus support for remote workers,听this is by appointment听on campus or remotely
  • Personal听mobile device听support
  • Setup of computer desks听or other furniture
  • Installation听of monitor stands
