Boots n' Blooms

Boots ‘n’ Blooms is an annual tradition on the Agricultural Campus — a day of sweat equity from green-thumbed volunteers from the Ag community.

This year the event will be on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025.

2025 Theme: Flower Power

Our beautiful Botanical Garden has the power to connect our community to campus.Ìý Flowers have long been used to symbolize community, remembrance, hope, and renewal.ÌýGet creative and bring your best interpretation of Flower Power!Ìý

This event is rooted in collaboration and teamwork. Boots 'n’ Blooms is a testament to theÌýFriends of the Garden, a mighty group of volunteers who have donated countless hours of their time over the years to help maintain the gardens on campus.

Participate in teams and take part in some of the following activities:

  • prune a shrub or vine
  • plant an annual
  • edge a bed or walk
  • weed a garden
  • garden with a friend
  • mulch a planting
  • add some plant labels
  • wash a bench
