Congratulations to Nursing PhD student Britney Benoit, this year’s recipient of the Faculty of Health Professions Graduate Student Excellence in Research Award.Ìý
A nurse-scientist, Britney’s research focuses on the impact of breastfeeding on newborn pain during medical procedures.

Britney received the award at the 2016 Graduate Student Research Day where she, along with Faculty of Medicine Graduate Student Excellence in Research Award winner Simon Gebremeskel, presented to their peers.

The Graduate Student Research Day is an opportunity for students form the Faculties of Health Professions, Medicine and Dentistry to present posters, attend workshops and network.
